In conjunction with our screening of Who’s Queen? Shorts, MQFF takes over the Victorian Pride Centre for an afternoon of all things drag. Dressing in drag isn’t just encouraged, it’s practically mandatory! With live performances, a rooftop bar and a good old-fashioned Aussie BBQ with vegan options galore, Homage to Drag is our celebration of Melbourne’s fabulous queens and kings.
Hosted by drag queen Cerulean, one of Naarm/Melbourne's most vibrant conceptual performers, MQFF pays homage to our community's drag queens, kings and performers.

The Rooftop Cinema will host you with a fabulous bar and sausage sizzle (with vegan options) from 7:00pm. Screenings commencing at sundown (approximately 8:30pm). Enjoy a fine selection of cheese, crackers and goodies supplied by The Little Social – available for pre-purchase below, ready for collection when you arrive!

Rooftop Cinema is an outdoor event with picnic-style seating – attendees are encouraged to bring rugs and blankets.
Food and drinks will be available from the Rooftop Cinema bar. No external food or alcohol is permitted.
